LIST OF COURSES

COURSES OFFERED IN NDT:

We offer the following NDT training and examination courses:

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Gain the skills and knowledge to perform magnetic particle testing on a variety of ferromagnetic materials.

Level 2
Level 3

The Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 (Multi-Sector) course builds upon foundational knowledge, delving deeper into the advanced techniques and intricacies of magnetic particle testing (MPT). Magnetic particle testing is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method employed to detect surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. This course will provide participants with extensive theoretical knowledge, paired with intensive hands-on training, enhancing their expertise and proficiency in MPT at an advanced level.

This comprehensive course is designed for professionals seeking to achieve Level 3 Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT). As an advanced course, it will expand upon the knowledge and skills acquired at Levels 1 and 2, delving deeper into the principles of magnetism, the intricacies of test techniques, and the interpretation of test results. Participants learn to design, establish, and manage an MPT testing program in accordance with industry standards.

Penetrant Testing (PT)

Gain the skills and knowledge to perform penetrant testing on a variety of materials.

Level 2
Level 3

This comprehensive course on Penetrant Testing (PT) Level 2 is designed for technicians and professionals who are looking to advance their expertise and skills in the multisector aspects of penetrant testing. It covers both theoretical knowledge and practical applications of liquid penetrant inspection, a widely used method for detecting surface-breaking defects in non-porous materials. This course is aligned with the latest industry standards and requirements.

This advanced certification course is designed for professionals seeking to deepen their expertise and achieve Level 3 Certification in Penetrant Testing (PT). The program covers a comprehensive curriculum that includes the knowledge needed to perform, supervise, and manage penetrant testing procedures at the highest level of proficiency.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Gain the skills and knowledge to perform ultrasonic testing across various levels, from basic flaw detection to advanced evaluation and certification.

The Ultrasonic Testing Level 1 (General Engineering) course introduces the principles, techniques and applications of ultrasonic testing on general engineering components. It covers equipment operation and basic ultrasonic inspection, and prepares participants to carry out inspections under supervision.

The Ultrasonic Testing (Welds) Level 2 course is a specialized program tailored to delve deeply into the techniques, challenges, and intricacies of using ultrasonic testing (UT) for the examination of welds. Welding, being a primary method of joining metals, often introduces a unique set of discontinuities that can compromise the integrity of the structure. This advanced course equips participants with both comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to detect, interpret, and evaluate these discontinuities using ultrasonic methods.

This comprehensive training course is designed to elevate the proficiency of NDT professionals to a Level 3 status in Ultrasonic Testing (UT). It encompasses advanced UT theories, practical applications, and quality assurance practices. The course ends with the examination; certification is issued by AINDT ISO 9712.

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing Level 2 (PAUT2MS)

Gain the skills and knowledge to apply phased array ultrasonic testing for accurate defect detection, characterisation, and evaluation on welds across various industries.

Material Science & Product Technology (Multi-Sector)

Gain the skills and knowledge to apply across multiple sectors, focusing on the examination and manipulation of diverse material properties and production techniques.

Radiography and Radiation Safety (RRS) – National Module EA 612

Gain the expertise to work confidently and safely around radiation. This course equips you with critical safety protocols, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on skills to ensure compliance and minimise risks in radiation environments.

Radiographic Testing (Film) Level 2 – Welds (RT2W)

Gain the skills and knowledge required for advanced radiographic inspection. This course enhances your ability to detect internal defects in materials, ensuring material integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
